Giants vs. Padres & Tailgating!

We had such a fun time! However, it was freezing cold! We left Sac around 9am after making a quick coffee stop (much needed) and headed to SF. Of course, right about when we got to Berkeley the fog started to roll in... Man was it cold! And as usual, I wasn't wearing warm enough clothes :) We brought everything to make carne asada and chicken tacos - YUM (and of course we had some beer too)! To keep ourselves warm, we were all playing around with a football in the parking lot. First, Zach & Gino threw the ball and hit poor little Alli in the face. Alli and I were also taking opportunity to share our athleticism with some action photos *dorks* Sarah and I were playing catch later the the first throw she threw the ball all crazy and hit someone's car! That was it for me... I was done with catch. This was Alli's first professional baseball game so we were all excited to share the fun with her. The Giants ended up losing 0-5 and the game was actually pretty uneventful. By the time we got to our seats, it was already 0-4! We had a great time though and were able to make it back to Sac by about 6. We are all looking forward to going back for a game when its warmer :)

Matt & Kat's Big Day - 5.24.08

Matt & Katrina have officially tied the knot. The wedding was very special and a blast! We all had a great time...until the next morning. After overendulging in adult beverages, we headed to Charins to finish the night. Nick & Nancy, Allison & Evan and Zach and I all piled into a cab to head over to Chargins. The cabby just happened to be the biggest a$$hole none to man (you'll see why as you read ahead). When we arrived to Chargins, Nick realized that he needed to get Nancy home... she was offically done. In the mile drive from Chargins to Zach & Evan's, poor Nancy got sick in the cab. To make a long story short, the cab driver continued to impress with his a$$hole skills and was giving Nick all kinds of crap about the "cab incident". Nick was apologetic but the cabby wasn't having it and ended up getting in his face. The rest of the crew got back to Zach & Evan's around 1:30 and immediately passed out. The next morning (more like afternoon), Zach, Evan and I headed to Chargins for breakfast. As we returned, Evan noticed my windshield was shattered (my car had been parked in their driveway). Since our minds weren't as sharp as normal, we didn't even think that it could have been the disgruntled cabby until later. The jerk smashed in my windshield with a crowbar or tire iron! Since we can't prove it, there is nothing we can do. Lucky me, huh? Anyways, the wedding was a blast and here are some pictures of the festivities. Isn't my boyfriend handsome?

Ok... It's been awhile...

Alright, alright... I know its been awhile. I'm officially the worst blogger ever but Yarrow inspired me to get it going... I hope you enjoy the blogs to come!

The Vallejo/Strahl Wedding 2.10.08

E-Ber & C-Gas just looking hot without makeup...
Practically a professional make-up artist....Nicole was a great client!
You are so fierce....ready for the runway
Momma & Bella....Ready for the big moment!
Finally Married! Ok, ok... you can breathe now
Here are some of my favorite pictures from the blessed day (Thanks Sarah)!

From start to finish, this was one of the most fabulous days ever! Friday night, Jim & Julie (Andy's Parents) hosted a wonderful rehearsal dinner at Vallejo's downtown. We had TONS of yummy Mexican food and it was so nice to spend time with both the Vallejo & Strahl families. From there, we headed over to Myagi for some cocktails :)

On Saturday night, we Nicole, Yarrow, Sarah, Erin & I made a trip out to Elk Grove to spend some much needed QT together. We started our night off with a fancy dinner at Panda Express and then headed to our hotel for the night. We all did our best to try to get some sleep but you know how that goes....we were all excited (especially the Bride-to-Be) and had a hard time getting some sleep.

On Sunday morning, we juiced up with some much needed Starbucks and headed over to the hair salon to get pretty :) We had a fun time getting beautiful hairdos and being pampered with manicures and pedicures. Nicole's hair turned out perfect (very Eva Longoria-esque) and we were ready to head over to Gracie's (Nicole's Mom) to get all dressed and ready to go. After some very special pictures of Nicole, Gracie & Victor (Nicole's dad) we tried to gather everything to head to the church (tried is the key word). In a very Nicole-like fashion, Nicole was missing everything from her keys to her purse and we got a little postponed...but eventually headed off in the Prius. Yarrow tried to kill us a few times on the way to the church (ran a couple stop lights, almost rearended someone, etc.) but we made it. Phew.....
